- Washers
Enhance a current design or fabricate a bespoke design?
We can repair damaged components and even ‘reverse engineer’ components, producing a specification for the manufacture of an identical item, or improving / enhancing the original design.
Got an idea you want to put into reality? Through consultation with you; we can work from conceptual ideas to produce three dimensional models and two dimensional detailed drawings to develop and engineer a prototype product. Or working from detailed CAD data, we can produce fully assembled and working prototypes.
Quality & Precision
Whether it’s a roller or a component, we will precision engineer / machine to either your detail drawings or using a sample of the item you require engineering or recovering.
Our precision engineering services include; Milling, Drilling, Turning, Grinding and slotting
All engineering work is carried out by our highly skilled engineers. Tooling is our speciality!
Reverse Engineering
Providing solutions to the manufacturing and production industry with an aim to provide a fast and reliable turnaround in all aspects of engineering and in a wide variety of materials.
Reverse engineering is also one of our specialities. We can utilise an existing product and using our well-equipped inspection department, to produce a specification for manufacture of an identical item.
For people working to a tight schedule we can repair damaged components or remanufacture to samples – often improving on the original design.

Reverse Engineering OEM Roller FAQs
Yes. We can reverse engineer your existing roller from a sample, even if no original drawings or manufacturing information are available.
Reverse engineering is the process of measuring and analysing an existing roller to recreate its design, allowing an identical or improved replacement to be manufactured. It is often a far more cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new OEM roller.
Yes. We regularly manufacture replacement rollers for discontinued or obsolete components where OEM support is no longer available.
Yes. Every critical dimension is carefully measured to ensure the replacement roller is manufactured as a direct fit for your machine.
Yes. We can strengthen shafts, upgrade materials, improve bearing arrangements or use modern rubber and polyurethane compounds to improve performance and extend service life.
Ideally we require:
The existing roller
Any drawings (if available)
Machine make and model
Application details
Photos of the installation
Yes. We can assess the existing material and recommend an equivalent or an improved compound best suited to the application.
Using precision inspection and measuring equipment, replacement rollers are manufactured to accurately match critical OEM dimensions and tolerances.
Yes. Once we've reverse engineered a roller, we retain the manufacturing data so future repeat orders can be produced more quickly and cost-effectively.
Yes. We can reverse engineer rollers from virtually any OEM or manufacturer, whether the original manufacturer is still trading or not.
